A terraced garden with lava-stone walls, a central terracotta staircase, a fountain, box hedges and period street lamps.

Also known as the garden of Villa Raffaella, it spreads around the house on several levels, supported by lava-stone walls. A central staircase faced with exposed brick climbs from the gate to the villa, broken by a fountain and then split into two side flights leading to the patio. We like its orderly regularity.Along the paths you come across box hedges, flower beds and tall trees dating from the original layout, while the wrought-iron street lamps are still the period ones. Hidden behind a boundary wall, the garden is a small green surprise in the neighbourhood: we recommend seeking it out with curiosity.
