Church documented from 1475, rebuilt and consecrated in 1625, later placed under royal patronage.

The church is first mentioned in 1475; until the 16th century it was called Santa Maria di Casafestina, after its founder. It became a parish in 1566, was rebuilt on a larger scale and consecrated on 21 December 1625.The chapels were entrusted to the families who had supported the rebuilding; between the late 18th century and 1822 the church came under royal patronage. We like one detail: although dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie, its main feast is that of the Assumption.
