Church of Baselice's old Augustinian monastery, with the 16th-century tomb of Ottavio Carafa and a painted wooden choir.

The church of Maria Santissima delle Grazie was built next to a large Augustinian monastery. Over time it has been altered several times and little remains of its original appearance, but inside it holds some features that really deserve a stop. The most important is the 16th-century tomb of Ottavio Carafa, long lord of the fief of Baselice: a travertine monument crowned by an aedicule with the steelyard coat of arms, symbol of the Carafa family. We also recommend looking closely at the fine painted wooden choir.
