18th-century Neoclassical parish church of Camposano, with a dome 30 metres high.
The parish church of San Gavino dates from the 18th century, a period when Charles III of Bourbon spurred the building of many new churches. It is thought that Luigi Vanvitelli worked on the design, but there is no firm evidence.It is Neoclassical in style, with a single nave and side chapels. We are struck by its proportions: the vault reaches 18 metres and the dome rises to 30 metres above the floor.
