The complex of basilicas that grew up around the tomb of St Felix, at Cimitile near Nola.

The Early Christian basilicas of Cimitile arose around the tomb of St Felix, deeply venerated in the first centuries of Christianity. St Paulinus of Nola had new buildings erected here and welcomed pilgrims.Within the complex you can visit several churches and chapels with frescoes and structures from the 4th century to the Middle Ages: a rare place for understanding the origins of Christianity in Campania.
