The parish Church of San Cesario in Cesa, rebuilt in 1872 on a church documented since 1097, with a nave and two aisles and frescoed vaults.

A church dedicated to St Caesarius already existed in Cesa in 1097, when Count Robert of Sant'Agata donated it to Aversa Cathedral; it became a parish in 1572. The present building was completed in 1872 to a design by the architect Filippo Botta, thanks to the offerings of the faithful. The Renaissance-style interior has a nave and two aisles separated by Ionic columns; the vaults, domes, apse and transept are decorated with 20th-century frescoes by Luigi Tagliatatela and Raffaele Iodice. We recommend looking at the saint's reliquaries, including an 18th-century silver bust. The patronal feast is celebrated in the week after 19 June.
