The Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, known as Sant'Angelo, with 17th-century paintings and a Last Supper of 1780 by Salvatore Mollo.

Called Sant'Angelo but dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament, this chapel has its roots in the work of hermit monks of the Italo-Greek tradition, heirs of Saint Anthony Abbot and Saint Basil. In the 16th century it was renovated by Marino Crasso, personal physician to Charles V, and a Latin inscription over the door recalls the indulgence granted in 1525 by Pope Clement VII to those who visited it.Inside, 17th-century works await you: the sacrifice of Isaac, Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Catherine and scenes of the Nativity. We recommend pausing at the painting of the Last Supper, made in 1780 by Salvatore Mollo. We like this chapel because in a few steps it tells centuries of Roccagloriosa's religious history.
