In the Biondi-Morra castle, grave goods from the Samnite necropolis of Piano Cerasulo and finds from Piano di Tivoli.

The Antiquarium of Morra De Sanctis is housed in the Biondi-Morra castle, which dominates the birthplace of Francesco De Sanctis. Its rooms gather grave goods from the Samnite necropolis of Piano Cerasulo and material from the excavation campaigns carried out at Piano di Tivoli between 1979 and 1985.We are particularly struck by the pottery decorated with wolves' heads, a motif with strong symbolic value for the Irpinian peoples. We suggest taking the time to look at the details of the grave goods and ending the visit with a stroll through the village, from which the view sweeps over the hills of upper Irpinia.
