A brick turret in the Capodimonte Woods, built by the Savoy family for hunting at the end of the Viale di Mezzo.

Walking through the Capodimonte Woods, at the end of the Viale di Mezzo, you come across a small square brick tower. It has two floors and a terrace at the top, from which the view stretches towards some old farmhouses nearby. The Roccolo was built as a hunting structure: it was commissioned by the Savoy family, who used the woods for hunting parties during their stays at Capodimonte, perhaps on the site of an older post. We recommend including it in a walk along the park's avenues.
