Museum with finds from the necropolis beneath Castellammare's co-cathedral, including sarcophagi and a milestone column of Hadrian.

The museum displays finds discovered between 1875 and 1878 in the necropolis beneath the co-cathedral of Castellammare, dating from the 2nd to the 6th century AD.We are struck by the milestone column from the age of Hadrian, from the road between Nuceria, Stabiae and Surrentum, which bears witness to Stabiae's revival after the eruption of 79. We also recommend the sarcophagi, including the one with Apollo, Minerva and the Muses.
