Sanctuary in the Quartieri Spagnoli in the home of Saint Mary Frances, visited by women hoping for a child; the saint's "chair" is kept here.

In the Quartieri Spagnoli, the church of Santa Maria Francesca delle Cinque Piaghe was created at the end of the 18th century on the ground and first floors of an old palazzo, where the saint lived, the first Neapolitan woman to be canonised. It is a pilgrimage destination above all for women hoping for a child: the convent keeps the chair on which the saint used to rest, considered miraculous. Inside we see the painting of the Death of Saint Mary Frances and her statue. An intimate place, deeply felt by the neighbourhood.
