Vomero church born in 1885 from a chapel donated to the Salesians; neo-Romanesque interior with a coffered wooden ceiling.

In the Vomero, the church of the Sacred Heart grew from a chapel that Baroness Isabella de Rosis had built between 1884 and 1885 and then donated to the Salesians. In 1889 the religious began enlarging it, and their institute rose alongside. The façade is neo-Renaissance, while the neo-Romanesque interior has a single nave with a fine carved and painted wooden ceiling, a large organ from 1915 and frescoes from 1927. It is a landmark for the hilltop district.
