The arches of the Roman Serino aqueduct, in the district that takes its name from them.

The Ponti Rossi ("Red Bridges") are the remains of the Roman Serino aqueduct, which carried water from Irpinia to Naples and the fleet at Misenum. The name comes from the colour of the bricks. The arches can be seen along the road in the district of the same name, near Capodimonte. They are among the most visible Roman remains in the city.
