The railway museum in the Bourbon workshops of Pietrarsa, by the sea between Naples and Portici.

The museum occupies the workshops founded by Ferdinand II of Bourbon in the mid-19th century, shortly after the opening of the Naples–Portici line, Italy's first railway. In the great sheds you can admire steam locomotives, royal carriages and electric trains. From the garden overlooking the gulf the view stretches as far as Vesuvius.
