Renaissance chapel in Sant'Anna dei Lombardi with the tomb of Mary of Aragon, by Antonio Rossellino and Benedetto da Maiano.

In the church of Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, at Monteoliveto, the Piccolomini chapel is the most important example of 15th-century Tuscan art in Naples. It was created between 1475 and 1490 to house the tomb of Mary of Aragon, daughter of King Ferrante, commissioned by her husband Antonio Piccolomini. The monument is the work of Antonio Rossellino, completed by Benedetto da Maiano: a marble masterpiece to admire up close.
