Palazzo on the lower decumanus donated in 1412 to the Republic of Venice for its ambassadors; now a cultural space with a hanging garden.

Along the lower decumanus, on via Benedetto Croce, Palazzo Venezia tells of more than four centuries of relations between Naples and the Serenissima. Around 1412 King Ladislaus donated it to the Republic of Venice, which housed its ambassadors here.Today it is a cultural space with exhibitions and events. Its loveliest corner is the small hanging garden with the "casina pompeiana", a secret oasis above Spaccanapoli.
