Chiaia palazzo near San Carlo alle Mortelle, once owned by a monastery and sold after Murat's suppressions.

In Chiaia, near the church of San Carlo alle Mortelle, Palazzo Sulzer may have 17th-century origins. In 1815 it belonged to the monastery of Santa Caterina da Siena. With the suppression of the monasteries ordered by Joachim Murat it passed to the State and was then put up for sale. An example of how religious properties became private residences in the 19th century.
