Riviera di Chiaia palazzo rebuilt in 1808 after a bomb explosion brought down one wing.

On the Riviera di Chiaia, on the corner with piazza San Pasquale, Palazzo Serracapriola was rebuilt in 1808 by the architects Antonio De Simone and Francesco Maresca. The work became necessary after a bomb explosion brought down one wing of the building: those responsible were never found. A curious story behind an elegant façade.
