19th-century villa on viale Gramsci designed for Duke Tommaso of Savoy-Genoa, completed in 1879.

On viale Gramsci, near the seafront, Palazzo Sanfelice di Monteforte is in fact an imposing villa, commissioned in the late 1870s by Duke Tommaso of Savoy-Genoa from the young Ticino architect Augusto Guidini. The door stop under the main doorway bears the year 1879, the date of completion. It is part of the elegant residential front created by the land reclamation of Chiaia.
