A 16th-century palazzo on the Calata Trinità Maggiore, nicknamed «palazzo d''o Gas» after the family of Edgar Degas, who lived there.

Along the Calata Trinità Maggiore, near Piazza del Gesù, Palazzo Pignatelli di Monteleone was built in the 16th century for Duchess Girolama Colonna, wife of the Duke of Monteleone.Neapolitans call it «palazzo d''o Gas»: in the 19th century the Degas family lived here, and the young painter Edgar stayed as a guest of his relatives. The 16th-century portal is worth noticing.
