A palazzo in the Banchi Nuovi rebuilt by Ferdinando Sanfelice, with galleries frescoed in 1720 by Paolo De Matteis.

Between Via dei Banchi Nuovi and Piazzetta Teodoro Monticelli, Palazzo Palmarice has medieval origins but was entirely rebuilt by the Vernazza, Princes of Palmerice, to a design by Ferdinando Sanfelice. The piperno portal is by Antonio Saggese; in 1720 Paolo De Matteis frescoed its two galleries. The palazzo has undergone many changes, but remains a fine example of 18th-century Naples.
