Renaissance palazzo on via Banchi Nuovi, rebuilt after the 1569 flood, with a loggia now walled up.

On via Banchi Nuovi, the palazzo of the Dukes of Casamassima was built in Renaissance style after the flood that devastated the area in 1569, as the historian Carlo Celano recounts.Originally a garden opened behind the loggia, which was walled up at the end of the 19th century. A testimony to the 16th-century reconstruction of this corner of the centre.
