A palazzo in the Cavone that began as the hunting lodge of Alfonso II of Aragon, also called the «villa Conigliera».

On Vicolo Luperano, in the Cavone area, Palazzo Muscettola di Leporano began in the 15th century as the hunting lodge of King Alfonso II of Aragon, for hunting the many rabbits in the area: hence its other name, the «villa Conigliera» (rabbit warren villa). The estate reached as far as today's Via Salvator Rosa. It later passed to the Princes of Leporano, whose name Neapolitans corrupted into «Luperano».
