A palazzo from 1754 built for the famous singer Caffarelli, with a portal attributed to Ferdinando Sanfelice.

On Via Carlo De Cesare, in the San Ferdinando district, Palazzo Majorana was built in 1754 for Gaetano Majorana, known as Caffarelli, one of the most famous castrato singers of the 18th century.Above the portal, attributed to Ferdinando Sanfelice, a Latin inscription wryly recalls his profession. A palazzo that tells of the golden age of Neapolitan opera.
