The 17th-century palazzo on the sea at Posillipo, left unfinished and shrouded in legend.

Palazzo Donn'Anna was built in the 17th century to a design by Cosimo Fanzago for Anna Carafa, wife of the viceroy Duke of Medina. It was never completed. The palazzo, with its arches open to the sea, is one of the symbols of Posillipo and can be admired from the sea or the nearby beach. It is a private building and cannot be visited inside.
