A palazzo on Piazza Trieste e Trento on the edge of the Quartieri Spagnoli, already shown on the 1566 map.

On Piazza Trieste e Trento, a stone's throw from the San Carlo and the Galleria Umberto, stands Palazzo D'Alessandro di Pescolanciano. A building in this position already appears on the 1566 map of Naples, at the entrance to the Quartieri Spagnoli. The palazzo took its name from the Dukes of Pescolanciano. It forms a backdrop to one of the liveliest squares in the city, the ideal starting point for discovering Via Toledo and Via Chiaia.
