One of the oldest palazzi on Via Monte di Dio, built at the end of the 16th century by the Carafa di Stigliano.

On Via Monte di Dio, Palazzo Capracotta is among the oldest on the street: it was built at the end of the 16th century by the immensely wealthy Carafa di Stigliano, the same family behind Palazzo Cellammare and Palazzo Donn'Anna. In 1606 it passed to the De Leyva and then to other families. It tells of the birth of aristocratic Pizzofalcone.
