A palazzo from 1927-1928 on Piazza Fuga, in the Vomero, rebuilt by Adolfo Avena next to the Funicolare Centrale.

On Piazza Fuga, in the Vomero, Palazzo Avena grew out of the entrance façade of the 18th-century Villa Ruffo. Between 1927 and 1928 the architect Adolfo Avena rebuilt it completely. The work was part of the redesign of the square in front of the Funicolare Centrale, opened in 1928. We see it as soon as we step out of the funicular.
