An Art Nouveau building in the Vomero on Via Palizzi, built between 1915 and 1918, entered via a small bridge.

On Via Palizzi, in the Vomero, the Palazzina Russo Ermolli is one of the most important examples of Art Nouveau (Liberty) architecture in the city. It was built between 1915 and 1918 to a design by the engineer Stanislao Sorrentino. The land slopes steeply: for this reason you enter from the second-to-last floor, across a small bridge connected to the street. Its rich decoration makes it recognisable from afar.
