A university anatomy museum in the cloisters of Santa Patrizia, with collections begun in the 17th century and 18th-century waxes.

In the cloisters of Santa Patrizia, near the Cathedral, the university keeps an anatomy museum with a history going back almost four centuries. The oldest core was assembled in the 17th century by the surgeon Marco Aurelio Severino. In the 18th century the great anatomist Domenico Cotugno enriched the collection with wax preparations. Today it is a teaching museum that also fascinates visitors curious about the history of medicine.
