A 16th-century palazzo on Via San Biagio dei Librai, seat of the Monte di Pietà founded in 1539, with a splendid chapel.

Along the lower decumanus, on Via San Biagio dei Librai, the palazzo of the Monte di Pietà housed the institution founded in 1539 by some Neapolitan nobles to grant interest-free loans against pledges to the poorest. The late 16th-century palazzo holds in its courtyard a beautiful chapel with sculptures by Pietro Bernini and Michelangelo Naccherino and frescoes by Belisario Corenzio. It can often be visited during openings and cultural events.
