Hellenistic hypogea of the 4th–3rd century BC beneath the Sanità district, with painted and carved tombs; the best known is the Ipogeo dei Cristallini.

Beneath the Sanità district, between via Arena alla Sanità, via Vergini and via Cristallini, 10–12 metres underground, lie the Hellenistic hypogea of Neapolis, tombs from the 4th–3rd century BC.They were lined up along an ancient road, like a necropolis. They have brightly coloured painted and carved sarcophagi; the most famous is the Ipogeo dei Cristallini, which can be visited by booking: a journey into Greek Naples.
