A Dominican complex from 1580 at the top of Pontecorvo, with Domenico Fontana's twin-towered church.

At the top of the Salita di Pontecorvo, the Gesù e Maria complex was founded in 1580 at the wish of the Dominican friar Silvio d'Atripalda. The convent is now a hospital. In 1585 Domenico Fontana enlarged the church and gave it a façade with two bell towers, typical of the Roman churches where the architect had worked. The square in front of the church is a small balcony over the historic centre.
