A Carmelite monastery at the Ponti Rossi, founded in 1911 on the initiative of Sister Antonietta Cataneo.

On Via Santa Maria ai Monti, near the Ponti Rossi, stands the complex of Santi Teresa e Giuseppe. Its origins go back to 1910-1911, when the Discalced Carmelite Antonietta Cataneo decided to found a new religious house. At first the nuns rented a floor of another convent; then, thanks to a benefactress, they built their own monastery. A recent story of contemplative life in the neighbourhood.
