Celestino Coscia and Antonio Bocchino Civic Ethnomusical Museum

This museum tells the story of the music of Montemarano's farming and pastoral tradition, starting with the famous Montemarano tarantella linked to Carnival. It grew out of research begun in the 1970s, which collected photos and recordings of the sounds that accompanied life in the fields, baptisms, weddings and wheat threshing.In the rooms we find rare musical instruments and objects of local life, old clothes, educational panels and audio, video and photographic materials.
