A small 14th-century church in the Pallonetto di Santa Chiara alley, also called "a Celano"; long closed, it can be seen from outside.

In the charming alley of the Pallonetto di Santa Chiara, whose name according to some recalls the boys who played ball here, stands this church founded in the 14th century by Giovanni Aya, regent of the Vicaria and a man close to Robert of Anjou. It was also called "a Celano" because it came under the patronage of that family, who probably owned the palace next door. From the mid-19th century it became an evening chapel. The entrance is a simple portal in piperno stone; the interior, a single hall divided into three naves by pilasters, ends with an apse beneath a pointed arch. It has been closed for many years: we recommend discovering it from outside during a walk through the alleys around Santa Chiara.
