Calvanico's mother church, documented from the 14th century, with stucco by local craftsmen and canvases by Solimena and Mozzillo.

The mother church of the Santissimo Salvatore is the monument dearest to the people of Calvanico. It is documented from the 14th century and has 18th-century forms.Inside, we like the stucco work of the village's craft workshops, the canvases by Solimena and Mozzillo and a 16th-century altarpiece by Giovanni Bernardo Lama. Badly damaged by the 1980 earthquake, it lost some works to thefts in the following years.
