The D'Ayala chapel on corso Vittorio Emanuele, built between 1904 and 1912 in an eclectic style inspired by early Christian architecture.

On corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the Chiaia stretch, the church of the Santissimo Redentore is also called the D'Ayala chapel. It was commissioned by Francesco D'Ayala Valva, who lived in the palazzo next door and noticed that this stretch of the corso had no church.Antonino Maresca di Serracapriola's design is inspired by early Christian architecture: we notice the lamb in the lunette above the door and the small arched glazed loggia. The work lasted from 1904 to 1912; today it is a parish church.
