Remains of the 15th-century church commissioned by Alfonso of Aragon in the Annunziata complex, with the Mormile chapel frescoed in the 14th century.

Inside the complex of the Santissima Annunziata Maggiore, in the Pendino district, a narrow passage from the courtyard leads to a small open space with the church of the Pace. It is what remains of the church commissioned in 1442 by King Alfonso I of Aragon, later used as a mortuary chapel.A door leads into the Mormile chapel, a remnant of an even older church: here 14th-century frescoes by an unknown Neapolitan painter can be seen. A hidden corner to look for when visiting the Annunziata.
