Seventeenth-century church in San Giovanni a Teduccio on piazza Pacichelli, founded by the Augustinians and entrusted to the Carmelites in 1820.

On piazza Giovanni Battista Pacichelli, one of the main squares of San Giovanni a Teduccio, stand the church of Santa Maria del Carmine and its former convent. The complex was founded in the 17th century by the Augustinians under the name of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli. After the suppression of 1806 and a period of neglect, in 1820 it was entrusted to the Carmelites, hence its present name. The 18th-century façade is recognisable by the curved profile of its cornice.
