The 14th-century former refectory of the friars of Santa Chiara, now a church on piazza del Gesù, dedicated to the Redeemer and Saint Louis.

On piazza del Gesù Nuovo, the church of Gesù Redentore e San Ludovico d'Angiò, known as the church of the Clarisse, was born in 1317 as the refectory of the Friars Minor of the Santa Chiara complex.Contemporary with the great basilica, it preserves its medieval architecture: a rectangular nave preceded by a broad vestibule. It was part of the complex with two monumental cloisters. When visiting Santa Chiara, let's look for this lesser-known space too.
