Barra church built from 1610 and consecrated in 1642, with two bell towers and an Annunciation by Orazio Solimena.

Along corso Sirena, in Barra, the church of the Annunziata, also called Sant'Anna, is among the most interesting religious buildings on the outskirts of Naples. Work began in 1610 and the church was consecrated in 1642.Outside we recognise it by the two bell towers flanking the façade. Inside, with a single nave, the polychrome marble high altar is surmounted by the Annunciation by Orazio Solimena; the ceiling frescoes are by Raffaele Iodice, from 1922.
