Eclectic early 20th-century church in Materdei, built by the Sisters of the Addolorata next to Palazzo Cassano Ayerbo d'Aragona.

On salita San Raffaele, in Materdei, around 1906 the Sisters of the Addolorata bought the large Palazzo Cassano Ayerbo d'Aragona with its garden, and built this church beside it.The façade, in late neoclassical and neo-Renaissance style, is divided into three parts, with the central section projecting and a large window lighting the nave. The church has no dome; it is an example of early 20th-century eclectic architecture.
