Secondigliano sanctuary commissioned by Saint Gaetano Errico in 1826, the heart of the district's devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows.

On via Padre Gaetano Errico, in the old village of Secondigliano, stands the sanctuary of the Addolorata, linked to the life of Saint Gaetano Errico, the local priest canonised in 2008.The story begins on 14 May 1826, Whit Sunday, when the saint told the people of a message received from the Madonna: to build a church dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows. The saint now rests here and it is a destination for pilgrims.
