A small church in the Quartieri Spagnoli with a late 18th-century look, polychrome marble altars and 17th-century canvases.

Hidden among the alleys of the Quartieri Spagnoli, this church shows late 18th-century decoration, both in its simple, linear façade and in its interior. We particularly like the transept altars, lively with polychrome marble and crowned by stucco frames animated by angels, reminiscent of the style of Giuseppe Sanmartino. On the high altar is a 17th-century canvas attributed to Mauro Simonelli, with the Virgin appearing to Saint Teresa of Ávila and Saint John Joseph of the Cross. We also suggest looking for the early 17th-century panel with the Holy Family and Saint Anne, attributed to Belisario Corenzio together with Luigi Rodriguez.
