A Carmelite church from 1604-1612 on Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, near the Archaeological Museum, with two monumental cloisters.

On Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, the great road opened between 1806 and 1810 to link the centre to Capodimonte, stands the church also called Santa Teresa al Museo, a stone's throw from the National Archaeological Museum. It was begun in 1604 and consecrated in 1612 for the Discalced Carmelites, thanks to offerings collected by the Spanish preacher Pedro de la Madre de Dios, a follower of Saint Teresa of Ávila. The complex has two monumental cloisters from the early 17th century.
