Eighteenth-century church of a lay congregation between Donnaregina and via Tribunali, rebuilt from 1729 by Bartolomeo Granucci.

On the street of the same name, between largo Donnaregina and via Tribunali, stands Santa Maria Vertecoeli. It was born in the 17th century as the chapel of a lay congregation that collected alms; the name perhaps comes from a Vertecelli family or from the Latin "vertice coeli".The congregation grew and in 1729 entrusted the rebuilding to the architect Bartolomeo Granucci, who also designed the interior and exterior stucco, carried out by artists of Domenico Antonio Vaccaro's school.
