A 14th-century church in the Pendino on Via Ferri Vecchi, linked to the Benedictine tradition, with a Rococo altar from 1751.

On Via Ferri Vecchi, in the Pendino district, Santa Maria la Palma, also called della Libera, was founded in the early 14th century by the Lanzalogna and Barbato families on an older place of worship, which tradition says was donated to Saint Benedict by the father of Saint Maurus. From 1561 it passed to the Hospital of the Incurabili; it was restored in 1583 and in 1751 received a Rococo high altar. In the nave a marble inscription of archaeological interest is preserved.
