A deconsecrated church in the ancient centre on Vico Parrettari, probably linked to the old trade of the rope makers.

On Vico Parrettari, in the historic centre, stands Santa Maria delle Mosche, a small, now deconsecrated church with a curious name. Little is known about its foundation: it was probably built by local residents who worked as «funari», rope makers.Like many churches born of the popular piety of the 17th and 18th centuries, it tells of a world of trades and confraternities that brought the city's alleys to life.
