The «Graziella» of Rua Catalana, built in 1737 by Angelo Carasale on the stalls of the old Teatro San Bartolomeo.

On Via San Bartolomeo, in the Rua Catalana area, stands the church that Neapolitans call «la Graziella». It has an unusual origin: it was built in 1737 by the architect Angelo Carasale in place of the stalls of the Teatro San Bartolomeo, one of the city's first opera houses. It was later entrusted to the Trinitarians. Thanks to the efforts of a cultural association it has been reopened and can be visited regularly at weekends, often with chamber music concerts.
